BEATRIZ celebrates what makes Filipinos unique—their endless artistry brought to life by their passionate, joyful spirit.

‏Its founder and chief designer is Carissa Cruz Evangelista. Prior to launching her brand in 2015, she worked with community-based enterprises and assisted livelihood communities in the Philippines' deprived neighborhoods. To this day, the brand has continued collaborating with communities, promoting local craftsmanship, and making waves in the global fashion industry.

The brand won the prestigious KATHA Award for Fashion during CITEM’s 61st Manila Fame Show in March 2015, was hailed as one of Oprah’s favorite things in 2016, and has expanded its footprint through the Pompidou Centre in Paris, Victoria and Albert Museum in London, Wait and See boutique in Milan, and the Museum of Modern Art (MoMa) in New York, among many other global art exhibits, stores, and catalogs.

‏BEATRIZ marries the art of colorful workmanship with the heart of social responsibility. Its youthful and creative styling is greatly inspired by the bright and vibrant weaves and culture of the Philippines.
